This years Fun=D-Fest, an annual fund raiser for Gods Pit Crew, was held on Sept. 12-13. We hosted several singing groups including; Cowboy Outlaws, Hilly Billy Blues Band, The Mills Family , The Church Sisters, Janet Williams Band, Cross-Fire, and John Finney, several Cowboy Church groups and much more. Rev. Jonathan Farwell was there on the evening of the 12th with his group "Crimson Tide" from Liberty University. Nine souls were saved.
Many local businesses donated food items as well as monatary donations in order to raise the monies needed by this First Disaster Responce Team. More than 100 volunteers were present to help with the events of the day.
An amount of $23,000 was made throughout the two days and 100% of the proceeds went to the crew to help with disaster relief.
